Research Interests
My research background was focused on the application of extracellular matrix - derived biomaterials for de novo functional tissue reconstruction and wound healing. Accordingly, I am keenly interested in the intersection between the immune system and tissue regeneration to develop immunomodulatory therapeutics for traumatic optic neuropathy and retinal disease.
