Research Interests

Broadly speaking I’m interested in restoring neural function after trauma. My thesis research primarily investigated noise induced pathology in the inferior colliculus. These projects included characterizing the survival and integration of transplanted inhibitory precursor cells in the inferior colliculus. Additionally, we investigated how transplantation of inhibitory precursor cells affects auditory behavior.
